This PlayStation Portal Deal Bundles Accessories And Free Cash (Sort Of)

The PlayStation Portal got a price hike a few months ago along with the rest of the PS5 family (thanks RAM shortage). But if you're in the market for one, Best Buy has an interesting deal going on right now. It's a bundle that includes the PlayStation Portal, and several accessories plus a $25 PlayStation Store gift card for $300 (down from $350). It's part of Best Buy's Tech Fest sale that runs until Sunday, June 28--and is coincidentally happening the same week as Amazon Prime Day. It's a handheld that can stream games over Wi-Fi either directly from your PS5 or from the cloud (if you have a PS Plus account). Alongside the PlayStation Portal and the PSN gift card, you get a screen protector, a wired set of earphones, additional rubberized thumbsticks, a charging dock, and a hardshell carrying case. Designed to complement the PS5, the PlayStation Portal has an 8-inch LCD screen and attached controller grips that with the same haptic feedback and adaptive triggers as the DualSense controller. What makes the device stand out is that it uses PlayStation's in-house Link technology, which gives the Portal its signature low latency and lossless audio. One thing to note is that this deal only covers the white version of the PlayStation Portal, and there's a separate option for the Midnight Black edition. It includes all the same accessories, but there's no $25 PSN bundled in. The plus side is that it is a few bucks cheaper at $270.
