With State of Play in the rear-view mirror and the Xbox Game Showcase broadcast arriving at the end of the week, it's time for Summer Game Fest Live to shine. Hosted by Geoff Keighley and former GameSpot video producer Lucy James, Summer Game Fest has positioned itself as a keystone of the Not-E3 season, and every year sees major announcements, new game reveals, and more. A celebration of video games, Summer Game Fest will kick off from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Can't make it? Worry not, because here's how you can watch from the comfort of your home. How to watch Summer Game Fest Live 2026 Summer Game Fest will once again be streamed online through its YouTube and Twitch channels and is scheduled to run for just over two hours. The livestream can also be viewed on X, Facebook, and Steam. Alternatively, you can watch along with several adorable VRTubers. Summer Game Fest Live 2026 start time Summer Game Fest Live 2026 is scheduled to begin at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET on Friday, June 5. 2 PM PT 5 PM ET 9 PM GMT 7 AM AET (June 6) What to expect Summer Game Fest Live usually begins teeing up several teases before it kicks off, but surprisingly, this year's edition has kept a tight lid on announcements. What we are expecting are reveals from across the gaming industry, as the show regularly attracts some of the biggest names in the scene. Last year saw Capcom drop an official reveal trailer for Resident Evil Requiem–one of the biggest hits of 2026–and we also got a new look at Bandai Namco's Code Vein i, Atomic Heart 2, and a release date for Arc Raiders. In previous SGF shows, we also got a first look at Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and release date announcements for AAA games, with numerous announcements from smaller studios peppered between them. If that pattern holds up, then expect this year's show to be a healthy mix of games across various genres and platforms. Don't forget, Day of the Devs will also stream immediately afterward, and this is generally a more intimate look at upcoming indie games that should be on your radar.
