Marijuana rescheduling hearings are finally here, but rescheduling is not enough
The DEA has begun an administrative hearing to place marijuana in Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act, which would make it easier to study, but would not change the criminal penalties or mandatory minimums associated with marijuana.
