Luigi Mangione's lawyers are withdrawing a psychiatric defense for his New York state murder trial. A judge had previously revealed Mangione, who has pleaded not guilty, would claim extreme emotional disturbance at the time he allegedly shot and killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
