Retired teacher who went missing in Mojave Desert off-roading area is found dead

Julie Goforth, 63, of Long Beach was found dead in a remote area of the Mojave Desert six days after she went missing while riding her dirt bike in the El Mirage Dry Lake Off Highway Recreation Area near Adelanto, authorities said.
