Pokemon Pokopia – Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest Event And Rewards

PUBLISHED·2h ago·3 min read

A new event arrives in Pokopia this month, allowing you to earn limited-time rewards. Pokopia’s latest event is themed around Zorua, the adorable shape-shifting Pokemon. This guide will explain how to participate in Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest event and all known rewards. Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest event details  Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest event runs from July 19-27 , and the event will start and end at 5 AM for your local time. Some of the earlier events worked with time travel in Pokopia, but at the time of writing this, time travel doesn't work for Zorua's event. The Pokemon Zorua with Ditto At the start of the event, Zorua can be found outside of any of the Pokemon Centers you've restored. This means you need to progress far enough in the game to befriend Bulbasaur and rebuild the first Pokemon Center as part of the "Yawn up a Storm" important request for Withered Wastelands. How to play Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest and earn rewards Speaking with Zorua should initiate the ability to participate in hide-and-sneak for the contest. This should work much like the existing hide-and-sneak mini game. If you've already completed the Bleak Beach questline, then you've already met Zorua and learned the camouflage ability. If not, Zorua should teach you the ability when you meet them outside of your completed Pokemon Center in Withered Wasteland. This mini-game lets you use the camouflage ability to hide from seeking Pokemon and sneak to a specified location. The reward for this is usually small amounts of stardust, but the earnings will likely be improved during the event. The full list of rewards hasn't been revealed yet, but participating in Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest will give you the chance to earn special prizes based on your performance, including an event trophy. Additionally, you can also meet up in another player's world or on a Cloud Island to participate in a co-op contest. The fastest completion time among all participating players will become the town or Cloud Island’s best record. The recent Pokopia event for Jirachi didn't let you time travel ahead to complete the event early, but you can time travel backward to collect this Pokemon and participate in the event if you missed it. This can also be used to meet the other post-launch additions of Sableye and Hoppip, as well as to secure their unique event rewards.
