Taking on the beloved role of Lara Croft for this incarnation is Alix Wilton Regan, who spoke about the game and her famous character at IGN Live today. During the panel, IGN debuted a snippet of the new "Meet Lara Croft" featurette in which Regan and the game's creators speak about the long legacy of the character and bringing to life her latest incarnation, and which you can watch the full video of above. So what's it like stepping into the shoes (or boots) of a character as well known as Lara Croft? Said Regan, "It’s amazing. Lara is a British cultural icon, she’s a global icon. She is loved and I love her as much as everyone else, so I’m ecstatic." She described Lara as "so completely confident in herself, in her abilities, her brain, her body, her being."
