In Subnautica 2, Biomods are unique boosters that allow you to improve the potential of your key abilities and stats. There are two types of boosters available for all to use: Active and Passive. There's a total of four different options to choose from. However, you'll find that there are more slots to equip Passive Biomods. Screenshot by Destructoid To get more Biomods, you'll need to craft the Bioscanner after obtaining its blueprint. You'll need the following resources. One Scanner Two Enamelled Glass Three Conduit Crystal To unlock a Biomod, you'll need to meet its requirements. The exact requirements will vary for each one, and you can meet them by scanning the required items. Unlocking some of the Biomods will be more difficult, but you can eventually get them done by scanning your surroundings. There were plenty of extra Biomods available during the test that Unknown Worlds has removed. The first major patch is expected to add more options, so make sure to be on the lookout for them.
